
For the first time in 106 years of Long Island high school football, a team has won 33 straight games.
William Floyd won its 33rd straight game and third straight Class 1 Long Island football championship on Saturday by beating
Farmingdale 42-0.
Floyd becomes the first team to go undefeated for three consecutive seasons since
Roosevelt did it from 1964-66.
